As many of you can appreciate - our last post was some time ago. Here is an update with my (personal) ongoing endeavours.

I am now studying my LLM at UCL (and thoroughly enjoying the experience and being at such a reputable institution) as well as working as a freelance advocate under contract with LPC Law. Both of them have provided a lot o much needed insight into various fields of law, which I hope to turn into articles for Newell Legal. At the moment, I'm hoping to join the editorial board of the UCL Journal of Law and Jurisprudence, whilst also getting involved in the Public International Law Pro Bono Project at UCL, which could see me spending some time in South America working in the Human Rights field in that jurisdiction.

At the moment of writing this article, I'm finishing a piece to celebrate 50 years of the Abortion Act - so do keep your eyes open for this.

Thank you again for all of your support.

All the best,

Jake & the Newell Legal Team
